Our 2024-2025 Projects
*Assist with the new summer program which allows kids in one camp to try multiple career aspirations for 90 days while building a summer theatre program performance using martial arts
​*Assist with building the first ever Uventex ranked international karate circuit that leads to a world level competition team from the state of Minnesota participating at the highest level of tournament competition
*Raise money to help keep kids who cannot otherwise attend in karate programs as funds are available
*Contribute to the creation of the S 6th St Japanese Zen Garden for the Summer 2024 Program
*Contribute to the creation of a new After School karate program that includes art, music, martial arts, academic tutoring, and competition access
*Continue to help foster athlete opportunities who are overseas
TRAIN2WORK
BUILDING BETTER COMMUNITIES
Black Belts Don't Quit is funding and uplifting the Train2Wrok program with Team Ascension Martial Arts school. Train2Work is a program where individuals train with certified Martial Arts instructors on a fast-track to have a job as an instructor at the end. Participants get hands-on experience, a possible job, and connections to other martial artists, all while having fun learning and growing and pursuing their goals!
THE SMART PROGRAM

Using Zoom, the SMART program hopes to work in both virtual and public schools to bring the values and benefits of martial arts to students across Minnesota, and beyond.

As of 2023, our martial artists are trying to form Team Barbados for WKC. They plan to compete in the upcoming WKC Championship in Orlando.

THE SMART PROGRAM
BRINGING OUR KIDS THE BEST
The SMART initiative for Crow Wing County is aimed at providing free martial arts training to kids in schools throughout Minnesota. Our program is designed to promote physical fitness as part of a healthy daily routine, positive growth mindset and productive communication, and focus that leads to accomplishment and confidence. Not only do we help students, but we also support our local teachers by reinforcing messaging the teacher's work daily to convey to their classrooms.
MAKING TEAM BARBADOS
BARBADOS HISTORY MADE HERE!
Working together with WKC, BBDQ volunteers are helping with the 21st Bridgetown Burning tournament. For the first time ever, this tournament will also work as a qualifier for the top athletes on the island to pursue being competitors at the WKC World Championship in Orlando, FL this year.
